Standing Pose of cats

My characters walk by their hind legs such as many well-known characters do because I would like viewers to take on the role of the character. However, my characters are not plain and fancy but realistic, so I have to do research into how real cats stand on their hind legs. I had thought that their paws of hands and those of feet are same size or foot paws are bigger than hand paws. However, I realised that foot paws were smaller than hand paws. Since I could not find any standing cats in several photographic collections of cats, I searched through the Internet to sketch their standing poses.

Photoshop Advanced Workshop

I was struggling to create B&W images of my complicated map for silk screen print because if I just chenge the image into B&W, the details of it disappeared.
Also, if I try the setting Finley told me, the result was strange.
So I asked the tutor of Photoshop how I can create clear B&W image from illustration file with complicated layers at the end of the workshop.
I wanted to transfer the image from Illustration to Photoshop remaining the layers because if I change the colour into B&W by each similar colour layer, I thought I could divide the colour for printmaking well.
She found the way, but only CS2 or 3 could do.
I felt I would need update Illustration and Photoshop.
I learnt many tips on the day as well, especially the ruler tool was very useful when I scan my hand-drawing and painting that are similar, but bit different to animate and clip images from them.

Paw print from Susan’s cat Ee-up

I would like to use real paw print for my map image and asked Susan to take her cat’s ones.

The taste of the real paw print is very nice.
Viewers might not notice the point, but I am happy about the cute and beautiful texture.
