Points to be amended

I saw that Jonathan and Andy play my animation and I realised some amended points.

– Need big button to click by the gamepad

– Need explanation word “Next” on the button of turning page icon

– Return to illustration files for the clickable map page from JPG files again because when full screen mode, the resolution is quite bad
(The map pages in animation imported illustration files were very heavy and changed the colour probably because the original file was made for 180x144cm printing and has very complicated layers, so I changed the way of creating the map pages and used JPG files. However, the solution was wrong owing to the poor resolution)

Changes of Cat House Scene

The First Version

I used quite big size images for this scene, so the scene is very heavy and slow according to the machine specs.

Also, since I edited the scene before creating the map, I only used the original images that have not been added digital effects, so same houses are used in each row of houses.

In addition, the first version has another cat town behind the cat town where the kitten lives.

The Second Version

I used the Illustration file of the map for this scene, so the arrangement of the houses and hills is same as the map.

Another good point is that this version has different images of houses in the each row of houses. I added the variation of the houses for the map by using digital effects. I also adjusted the colours of hills for the map by using digital effects.

On the other hand, the bad point in this version is that the images of the closest and biggest houses in the scene are about 300%, so the images are not so good resolution.

(I tried to use uploaded YouTube Video because I could export these scenes as AVI files, but the uploaded videos were terribly strange, so I used capture images)

Fabric Printing

Yan managed someone to bring the printing by aeroplane.
I have to do ironing them.

I need some tape to put and fix the biggest one on the floor not to be slippery.

I also need something for some maps to be hung on the wall.
Hopefully I would like to hang them like curtain.
I found some pipes on the ceiling, but it seems to be difficult to hang them.
If I cannot find good string, I shall put them also by tape.

Other fabrics are put on the wall casually like small mountains.
It is very easy.
However, I have to clean the floor because my map fabrics cannot be washed.

Problem of Printing Fabric Map again

Although it had taken very long time to print the map on fabrics and finally they were already printed, a new problem happened.

I asked Yan to order to print them in China.
As a result, my map printing was refused to post from China because China will hold Olympics soon and the post office refuse any package with smelly.
I have to wait the smell disappeares.

Proportion of Characters

Because it was very difficult to keep the proportion in each scene, I tried to drew down life-sized characters and measure and compare them. It was really helpful when drawing characters in each situation though it is big and bothersome.

Models of cats

I used neighbor cats to create cat characters except a kitten character because I could not find a kiten in neighbourhood.
